About Us

The Imaal Hall is located in the middle of the Village of Dunlavin, Co. Wicklow. We have been around for a long time and consider ourselves to be the oldest member of our community. We rent space to groups, businesses and individuals for a wide range of leisure activities. We are run by a group of local volunteers and are self funded with a little help from our friends.

Raise the Roof Fundraiser

The Imaal Hall’s roof has seen better days. Decades of Irish weather have taken their toll, and the integrity of the roof is now compromised. Leaks, structural damage, and water infiltration are posing a threat to the building’s overall stability and the safety of its occupants. It’s clear that action is needed, and it’s up to the community to rise to the occasion.

In the heart of Dunlavin, nestled within its close-knit community, lies the Imaal Hall a cherished gathering place that has been at the center of local life for over four decades. This community center has served as a hub for events, celebrations, meetings, and countless memories. Today, the Imaal Hall is in need of your support, as it faces a crucial challenge: a roof in dire need of repair. With a fundraising goal of €50,000, the Dunlavin community is rallying together to restore the Hall to its former glory.

The Imaal Hall Raise the Roof Fundraiser aims to raise €50,000 in addition to a grant given by Pobal for the much-needed roof repairs. The campaign is a testament to the community’s determination to preserve a place that has brought people together for generations. The new roof will not only ensure the integrity of the building but also breathe new life into the Imaal Hall and help it remain at the heart of our community for future generations. With your support, this historic venue can continue to be a source of pride for Dunlavin and a place where future generations can create their own cherished memories.

Imaal Hall Committee and Dunlavin’s community thank each and everyone for any donation that they make big or small and for your support of our fundraisers and the hall going forward.

Donate, support, and be a part of this incredible journey towards the Hall’s restoration.
